Calgary Free-Mo group invite train modelers from all over Western Canada to join them in creating a model train layout covering the entire surfice of the Big Valley arena. This trip will travel to Big Valley and make a stop at the Country Hideway on the return journey. Includes full course buffet barbecue steak supper with all the trimmings at the Hideaway. Live entertainment on the train in coaches and at Big Valley there will be time to visit Jimmy Jock Boardwalk, Granny’s Fudge and All That Buzz, the Canadian Northern restored station, the vintage automobiles, trucks and household artifacts at McAlister Motors community museum, and Big Valley’s world-class Rod Miller Handtool Museum. At the Hideaway hayrides, nature walks, inside and/or outside dining, children’s barrel train, old-time carnival games,and rubber ducky races are all part of the excitement.
