The train will leave the station at Stettler, AB, pulled by the 102-year-old Baldwin Consolidation 2-8-0 steam-locomotive No. 41 for the first time since 2017. This will be the first and only steam-powered train excursion for 2022. This special trip includes a AAA Prime Rib of Beef cafeteria style meal at Big Valley Hall, live professional entertainment on route in the passenger coaches and Lone Star Saloon, red and white dinner wine served with the meal, limited seating available on board the train, western style mounted train robbery by the dreaded Reynolds Raiders, time to do some exploring, sight-seeing, and shopping in the Village of Big Valley, plus much more.
